The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has banned 334 number plates in the UK due to being deemed offensive or distasteful. The new '24' registration number plates are set to be released on 1st March, which marks the start of a new year for vehicle registrations. The DVLA has reviewed millions of plates in each release and has banned combinations that could be seen as offensive, with examples including 'FA24 NNY', 'EU24 UKR' and 'GB24 WAR'.
