Bank CEOs enjoyed pay hikes in 2023 despite a meager bonus year for rank-and-file employees. Bill Winters' pay package at Standard Chartered rose 22%, while HSBC's Noel Quinn saw his compensation double. In the US, CEOs from Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, and Bank of America also experienced pay increases. Some executives, like Jane Fraser, received a 6% rise in compensation to $26 million.
