A 28-year-old Australian police officer, Beau Lamarre-Condon, has been charged with the double murder of TV presenter Jesse Baird and his Qantas flight attendant boyfriend, Luke Davies. Police suspect the murders occurred at Baird's home and that Lamarre-Condon hired a van to dispose of the victims' bodies, which have not yet been found. Lamarre-Condon was previously investigated for an aggressive tasering incident involving an Aboriginal man in 2020 and was a celebrity chaser and blogger before joining the police force.
