Tech giants Jeff Bezos, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Intel are investing $700m in Figure AI, a company developing humanoid robots that could alleviate worker shortages. Figure AI is raising around $675m in a funding round, with Bezos' firm Explore Investments committing $100m, Microsoft $95m, Nvidia $50m and an Amazon-affiliated fund $50m. The company aims to mass produce a humanoid robot that can be useful in real-world tasks.
