Subaru reduced Solterra electric car prices by $8,000, aligning with rivals like Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Tesla Model Y.
Subaru has lowered the price of its Solterra electric car by $8,000, with the base model now starting at $69,990 and the range-topping Solterra Touring starting at $76,990. The Japanese automaker's decision follows a similar move by Ford, which also cut prices on its Mustang Mach-E electric SUV. The new prices will apply to all existing pre-order customers and align the Solterra with rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Tesla Model Y.
