Roku acquires "The Spiderwick Chronicles" TV adaptation from Disney+, premiering April 19.

Roku has acquired the TV adaptation of "The Spiderwick Chronicles," based on the popular book series by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. Originally set for Disney+, the series follows the Grace family as they discover a magical world in their ancestral home. Starring Christian Slater, Joy Bryant, Lyon Daniels, Noah Cottrell, Mychala Lee, and Jack Dylan Grazer, the show premieres on Roku on April 19.
