A pedestrian was fatally struck by a Metro Transit bus in St. Paul's Highland Park, early Wednesday. The bus was traveling east on Ford Parkway when it hit the man as he crossed in front of it at Macalester Street. The bus driver, who will be placed on administrative leave, and Metro Transit police's accident reconstruction team are investigating the cause of the crash with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol.
