Hollywood directors Jason Reitman, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and others have purchased the historic Village Theater in Los Angeles. The 93-year-old theater, known for its large screens and iconic status, was put up for sale last summer. Reitman, along with over 30 other directors, plans to restore and preserve the theater, which has been a venue for movie premieres since opening in 1931.
