Panama Remains On EU's Tax Haven Blacklist.

The European Union (EU) removed the Bahamas, Seychelles, Belize, and Turks and Caicos from its blacklist of tax havens following their approval of measures to improve tax cooperation with the EU. Panama, Russia, American Samoa, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Fiji, Guam, Palau, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, the US Virgin Islands, and Vanuatu remain on the list. The list, updated every six months, includes jurisdictions that fail to comply with EU standards on tax transparency, tax fairness, or implementation of international standards to avoid erosion of the tax base or transfer of benefits.
