BP and BASF have partnered for carbon capture technology in BP's H2Teesside blue hydrogen project. BASF's OASE® white technology will capture CO2 emissions during hydrogen production, improving energy efficiency and achieving a capture rate of up to 99.99%. The H2Teesside project aims to be one of the UK's largest blue hydrogen production facilities targeting 1.2GW of hydrogen production by 2030.
