Bank of Ireland (BoI) has been ordered by a judge to disclose more information in a High Court case brought by Ailmount Investments Ltd, a company representing former J&E Davy investors, who claim the bank still owes €19.7m for the purchase of the stockbrokers. BoI bought the Davy Group in 2022 for €427m, and Ailmount sued Bank of Ireland Nominee 1 Ltd and its guarantor, the Governor and Company of BoI, after alleging a post-completion payment was not made by the agreed date.
