Ulster Rugby announces head coach Dan McFarland's departure, with current Ireland U20 head coach Richie Murphy taking over on an interim basis until the end of the season. McFarland joined the province in 2018 and led them to the PRO14 final in 2020. The team has struggled this season, exiting the Champions Cup in the group stages and currently sitting in eighth place in the United Rugby Championship (URC) table.
