Toshiba, now known as Dynabook, has recalled 15.5 million AC laptop adapters in the US due to overheating and fire hazards. The AC adapters were sold separately and with Toshiba brand personal laptops between April 2008 and April 2014. Dynabook has received 679 reports of the adapters catching fire, melting, and burning, and 43 reports of minor burn injuries. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled AC adapters immediately and contact Dynabook Americas for a free replacement.
