Pipefitter Gary Lefebvre, 45, was electrocuted on January 31 while operating an electric hoist at the Intercontinental Pulp Mill in Prince George. He died on February 11, 12 days after the accident. WorkSafeBC reports that Lefebvre was holding the control pendant and leaning on a metal guardrail when the incident occurred. An exposed 347-volt conductor was found on the electric hoist power cable near the site of the accident.
