Mexicans prepare to vote in Chicago for their homeland’s president.

Mexican nationals living in Illinois and northern Indiana can now vote in person at the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago for their country's presidential election, with over 150,000 registered to vote in person, online, and through mail. The election on June 2nd could potentially elect Mexico's first-ever female president, with Chicago having the second-largest number of registered Mexican voters in the US. The National Electoral Institute has extended voter registration until February 25 to increase electoral participation abroad.
