A Massachusetts high school girls' basketball game was abandoned after a transgender player on the opposing team injured three players. The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell forfeited its game against KIPP Massachusetts on February 8 after a biological male player on KIPP's team injured three of their athletes. Collegiate Charter School officials said the team decided to forfeit due to fears of further injuries and not being able to compete in the playoffs a few days later.
