Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has filed a police complaint against an unknown person who created a fake Instagram account in her name and extorted money from people by promising them jobs. Mumbai Police registered an FIR under section 66 (C) of the IT Act and launched an investigation based on Balan's complaint. Balan is known for her role in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise and is set to return for the third part of the movie.
