A hitchhiking chicken travelled from Campbell River to Nanaimo, BC, on board a recycling truck. After being discovered near 10 street in Nanaimo, the chicken, named Henrietta, was taken in by Nanaimo Animal Control. Despite efforts to locate the chicken's original owners, Henrietta found a new home on a farm near Nanaimo, where she was adopted by a happy, loving owner.
