Hawthorn Hawks defender Denver Grainger-Barras has been ruled out for 12-14 weeks after undergoing surgery for turf toe, a ligament injury in his toe. Grainger-Barras joins fellow players Changkuoth Jiath, out for six to eight weeks with a hamstring injury, and James Blanck, who will miss the entire 2024 season with a ruptured knee ligament. All three players sustained their injuries during a recent intraclub match.
