A fix has been identified and implemented, and vehicles are shipping to dealers. GM expects the hold to lift soon, allowing them to deliver vehicles to customers. This issue does not impact 2023 Colorado or Canyon vehicles, and no recall is planned. GM faced similar software issues with its Chevrolet Blazer EV, which led to a temporary sales halt in December.
