Former Disney Channel star Bridgit Mendler launches satellite data startup, Northwood Space, backed by major VCs including Founders Fund and Andreessen Horowitz. Mendler aims to build satellite ground stations with a focus on mass production and customer flexibility, creating a "data highway between Earth and space." Mendler studied at MIT and Harvard Law School before pursuing a career in the space industry as CEO of Northwood Space.
