A 29-year-old father, David Hollick, was found guilty of manslaughter for violently shaking and causing fatal brain injury to his six-month-old son, Kairo Hollick.
David Hollick, a 29-year-old father from Walsall, has been found guilty of manslaughter for violently shaking and bashing his six-month-old son, Kairo Jax Hollick, causing a non-survivable brain injury. Kairo died from his injuries at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The jury found Hollick not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter by a majority of 11 to one. Hollick will be sentenced on March 4.
