A 31-year-old American man from Metro Detroit has admitted to charges of murder and rape after allegedly pushing two US women down a ravine near Germany's Neuschwanstein castle in June 2021. The suspect, who met the two female tourists on a hiking path and lured them off the trail, is charged with murder, rape with fatal consequences, attempted murder, and possession of child pornography. The attack left one woman, Eva Liu from Illinois, dead and the other, Kelsey Chang, injured. The suspect faces a maximum sentence of life in prison in Germany.
