Germany's Rheinmetall company plans to establish a joint venture with a Ukrainian partner to produce ammunition in Ukraine, according to a memorandum signed on 17 February. The German company will own 51% of the joint venture, with a Ukrainian partner holding 49%. The new plant will produce a six-figure number of 155-mm artillery shells annually, contributing to Ukraine's defense capacity and enhancing Europe's security.
