Malta's former transport minister received a payout after being removed from the cabinet.
Aaron Farrugia, former Maltese transport minister, received a €33,000 payout after being removed from cabinet during January's reshuffle. Farrugia is reportedly being considered for Malta's permanent representative role at the International Maritime Organisation.
