A 31-year-old missing man from Augusta, Demon Antwan Parrish, was found dead in Aiken County on Feb. 17, and authorities are investigating the suspicious death.
A missing 31-year-old man from Augusta, Demon Antwan Parrish, was found dead in a wooded area near the intersection of Silver Bluff Road and Atomic Road in Aiken County on Feb. 17. The property owner discovered his body at 6:05 p.m. Parrish was last seen on Jan. 8 and had been reported missing. The Aiken County Coroner's Office, Aiken County Sheriff's Office, and Richmond County Sheriff's Office are investigating the suspicious death, with an autopsy planned in Newberry to determine the cause.
