Human bones discovered by a member of the public near Birmingham Airport prompted an investigation by West Midlands Police. The remains, belonging to an adult, were found near Digby Drive, Marston Green, on Saturday. The police are carrying out enquiries to identify the deceased, including specialist forensic tests which could take some time.
