Chatham-Kent police arrested a 55-year-old man for impaired driving, and another man for breach of peace at the police headquarters.

Chatham-Kent police arrested a 55-year-old Belle River man for impaired driving after a witness reported a suspicious driver. The suspect hid in the vehicle's back seat and claimed to be a passenger, but was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he refused to provide a breath sample. He was charged with failure to comply with a breath demand and impaired driving, with a court date set for March 4. Separately, another man was arrested for breach of peace at the police headquarters after refusing to leave and becoming aggressive with officers.
