Rachel Lee, a 33-year-old support worker for children with complex needs, won £405,000 on the People's Postcode Lottery in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester. Lee plans to use the winnings to become a paediatric nurse, allowing her to study for a Master's nursing degree. The remaining £594,000 was shared among other players in the postcode sector, with Home-Start HOST receiving £75,000 from the Postcode Community Trust.
