The Herefordshire and Worcestershire NHS Trust (HWHCT) has been nominated for a nursing award for their community multi-professional preceptorship programme. The programme, designed to support newly registered nursing staff, is in the running for the Nurse Education Provider of the Year (post-registration) honour at the Nursing Times Awards. HWHCT's preceptorship programme offers tailored services to aid the transition of newly registered clinicians from students to practitioners, providing them with increased confidence in their roles.
