Ghana's government released GH¢150 million for pothole repairs to boost road safety and infrastructure lifespan.

The Ghanaian government has released GH¢150 million to fix potholes across the country. The funds are to be used for the payment of road contractors working on patching potholes. The Ministry of Roads and Highways stated that the intervention aims to improve road conditions, reduce the risk of accidents, and prolong the lifespan of road infrastructure. The allocation is part of the first quarter releases from the Ministry of Finance.
