The Southern Nevada Health District has reported no new cases of tuberculosis following investigations across multiple Clark County School District campuses. The investigation followed potential exposure at an elementary school in December, leading to over 550 students and staff members being tested for tuberculosis infection. The Health District emphasized that not everyone who may have been exposed will be infected and not everyone who is infected with TB has active disease, with treatment offered for those exposed and found to have a TB infection.
