Six hikers were rescued after getting lost and stranded in the snow at 9,000 feet on Mount Baldy, California. Despite being unprepared for winter conditions, the hikers were able to text 911 for help. The rescue operation involved the SEB Emergency Services Detail and San Dimas Station Search & Rescue. The hikers were airlifted to safety by helicopter in challenging weather conditions.
