Queen releases a limited-edition 7-inch pink vinyl of "Cool Cat", a Freddie Mercury and John Deacon song, as a single on Record Store Day for the first time.

Queen will release a limited-edition 7-inch pink vinyl version of their "Cool Cat" track as part of Record Store Day on 20 April. First written and performed by Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, the song was a B-side from the band's 10th studio album, Hot Space. This will be the first time the track is released as a single. "Cool Cat" has seen a resurgence following its appearance in an ad for Amazon Prime directed by Olivia Wilde. The ad stars a young girl inspired by images of Mercury to embrace her unique style. Originally, "Cool Cat" was the B-side to "Las Palabras De Amor," a top 20 hit in the UK.
