Indian government establishes Central Processing Centre for Companies Law and LLP forms processing to improve ease of doing business.

The Indian government has operationalised the Central Processing Centre (CPC) for centralised processing of corporate filings under the Companies Act and Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Act. This move is part of ongoing efforts to improve the ease of doing business in the country. Initially, 12 forms and applications under the Companies Act will be processed at the CPC, with other forms and applications to follow from April 1, 2024. The ministry expects about 2.50 lakh forms to be processed annually through the CPC once it is fully operational.
