FBI raids NYC FDNY chiefs' homes over corruption probe involving expedited building safety inspections.

The FBI has raided the homes of two New York Fire Department (FDNY) chiefs as part of a probe into allegations of corruption involving expedited building safety inspections. Brian Cordasco and Anthony Saccavino, the two chiefs involved, were placed on modified assignment and have not been charged with any crimes. The probe is carrying on amidst scrutiny of whether building safety inspections are being expedited in exchange for bribes in New York.
