Cargill and Enough expand partnership to develop sustainable alternative meat and dairy products using fermented protein technology.

Cargill and food technology company Enough are expanding their partnership to develop more alternative meat and dairy solutions. Cargill has invested in Enough's Series C funding round and entered into a commercial agreement to use and market Enough's fermented protein. Enough produces Abunda mycoprotein, which is created through a sustainable, zero-waste fermentation process. The mycoprotein is a complete food ingredient containing essential amino acids and high in dietary fiber. The expanded partnership will enable Cargill to create alternative protein-based foods containing Abunda mycoprotein while leveraging its expertise in plant-based proteins, texturizers, and fats.
