Nepal's Stolen Gods Return Home; Repatriation Efforts Gain Traction: An unknown number of sacred statues of Hindu deities, believed to be stolen and smuggled abroad, are being repatriated to Nepal as part of a global effort to return such items to their countries of origin. Last month, four idols and masks of Hindu gods, including a 16th-century Uma-Maheswora statue, were returned to Nepal from the United States.
