Starting Feb 12, New Jersey's Division of Taxation mails out Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement program applications, lifting income limit to $150k and removing 10-year residency requirement.

Check your mailbox for the N.J. Senior Freeze applications, as they were mailed out on Monday, Feb. 12. The state expanded the tax rebate program, which reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons for property tax increases. Changes include a higher income limit ($150,000 or less for 2022, $163,050 or less for 2023) and revised residency requirements. Applications must be filed by October 31, 2024.
