Pennsylvania's PennDOT and PTC announce winter storm-related Tier 2 and Tier 4 vehicle restrictions from 3 a.m. on Feb 13.

Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) have announced vehicle restrictions ahead of a winter storm on Tuesday, February 13. The restrictions, which are part of Pennsylvania's weather event vehicle restriction plan, will be enforced from 3 a.m. and will be lifted once conditions become safe. Tier 2 restrictions prohibit certain vehicles, while Tier 4 restrictions prevent commercial vehicles, school buses, commercial buses, motorcycles, RVs/motorhomes, and passenger vehicles towing trailers from certain sections of the highway.
