Japan's Mizuho Bank has invested Rs 1,200 crore ($145 million) in Credit Saison India, marking the first investment by a non-group company into Credit Saison India. This strategic partnership will support Credit Saison India to continue growing as a well-diversified, resilient lending franchise. Credit Saison India, the Indian arm of Saison International, received its non-banking financial company (NBFC) licence in 2019 and has since expanded into wholesale and retail lending through tech-integrated partnerships and direct lending to small and medium-sized enterprises.
