Expro, a major energy services company, has announced plans to acquire Aberdeenshire-based drilling technology firm Coretrax for £166 million ($210 million). The acquisition is designed to expand Expro's portfolio of cost-effective, technology-enabled solutions in well construction and integrity across various markets, including the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Expro anticipates achieving up to £7.9 million ($10 million) in annual run-rate cost synergies in the first 18 months post-acquisition.
