Bob Edwards, NPR's "Morning Edition" host has passed away.
Voice of NPR's "Morning Edition" for 24.5 years, Bob Edwards, passed away at the age of 76. He began his 30-year tenure at NPR in 1974 and became the inaugural host of "Morning Edition" in 1979, holding the position until 2004. Edwards was inducted into the national Radio Hall of Fame in 2004 and authored three books about his radio journalism experiences.
