A 77-year-old woman has died following a house fire in North Lanarkshire. The fire occurred on Pleamuir Place, Cumbernauld, and was reported at approximately 11:00 AM on Saturday. Emergency services, including the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, responded to the scene. Crews worked for about six hours to extinguish the fire, which was finally put out at around 15:45.
