The feature, spotted by WABetaInfo, is expected to roll out with a dedicated chat filter in a forthcoming WhatsApp Web update. The 'favourite contacts filter' allows users to prioritise their most important conversations, thereby offering greater control and efficiency in their messaging experience. They can manually designate their favourite contacts and subsequently access them through a dedicated filter. This feature is expected to make it easier to interact with frequently contacted users, adding a layer of customisation to the platform.
