Australia's School Wether Competition, expanding to Queensland, Tasmania, and Victoria, explores a national event for year 9-11 students to engage in the wool industry.

The School Wether Competition, which encourages students to participate in the wool industry, has expanded across Australia and is considering a national event in the future. The event is not intended to replace the National Merino Challenge, which is currently on hold. The proposed national School Wether Competition would target year 9-11 students to engage them in the industry.
