Six-time All-Star guard Kyle Lowry is set to join the Philadelphia 76ers after a contract buyout from the Charlotte Hornets, as reported by ESPN. Lowry, who grew up in Philadelphia and played his high school and college ball there, will reunite with Sixers coach Nick Nurse, who coached him during their time with the Toronto Raptors, where they won the NBA title in 2019. The 38-year-old Lowry will sign a $2.8 million deal for the rest of the season once he clears waivers.
