A man from Chilliwack is facing multiple charges in connection with a downtown shooting that occurred on February 4. Ryan Diablo, aged 33, was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm with intent, aggravated assault, and failure to comply with a court order. The arrest came after exhaustive investigative work conducted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The shooting took place on Nowell Street near Yale Road, and the victim, who was acquainted with the suspect, was seriously injured.
