The U.S. Marshals and Maine Violent Offender Task Force have arrested 19-year-old Alyalia Chaibounmingkhouan, a fugitive from North Carolina, in Lewiston. Chaibounmingkhouan was wanted for 1 count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill and 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon. She was apprehended through a collaborative law enforcement effort and is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina, where she will be arraigned on outstanding charges.
