Nigeria's U-17 women's national football team, the Flamingos, defeated Central African Republic (CAR) 6-0 in the second leg of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifier at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria. The Flamingos won the match 12-0 on aggregate, advancing to the final round of the tournament. Harmony Chidi scored a hat-trick, with Ramota Kareem and Tessy Ojiyovwi also contributing to the victory. The final round opponent for the Flamingos has yet to be determined. Three teams will represent Africa at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, which will be hosted by the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November 3, 2024.
